Following the launch of an innovative service app for customers, one of India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers, continued the digital empowerment of its operations with the release of a full-fledged tablet app for its country network of over 800 dealers, designed and developed by Interakt.

The branded tablet app features a range of the company’s latest two-wheeler brands with interactive product information on each model’s specification, pricing, features, benefits and differentiators. Besides this, app users also have access to modules on corporate and regional marketing nuggets with videos, visual content and financial calculators. As a result, the app functions not just as a sales tool for walk-in customers but also as an on-the-go training platform for new recruits and interns.

Speaking a month into the app rollout, the organization’s marketing manager said,” The initial feedback from the dealerships has been very encouraging as they find it very useful and convenient. The intuitive structure and functionality of the app makes it very easy to understand and use immediately with little or no training.”

The app, compatible with Android, iOS and Windows based tablets, standardizes product information across regions, while also allowing variant views for customized user experiences at the dealerships. “With the emergence of new trends and the convergence of technologies, consumers today are buying into ‘experiences’ rather than just products. We’re delighted that the tablet app is delivering on this promise of individualized sales experiences for every prospect walking in through the dealer’s doors.”, said Mr.Dakshen Ram, co-founder and Vice-President Global Operations at Interakt.

The app is first being released to selected dealer outlets and then will be gradually rolled out to the other dealerships over the next quarter, bringing the adoption to a near 100% for the client, before the end of the first half of 2017.
